Shaping the Future

Our commitment to people extends beyond those already employed within the Group. We believe in creating opportunities for individuals at different stages of life and supporting initiatives that make a positive impact in the communities we operate in.

Platts works closely with partner organisations, colleges, universities and charities to help create pathways into employment and to support young people and those returning to work. This includes offering work experience placements that build confidence, develop practical skills and create opportunities to move into permanent roles within the business.

Alongside this, Platts works in partnership with local charity We Mind The Gap, supporting initiatives that help young people access meaningful work experience and develop the skills and confidence needed for future employment. This partnership reflects our commitment to creating opportunities, recognising potential and contributing positively within our local communities.

We are also proud to support people connected with the Armed Forces community. In recognition of this commitment, Platts Group has been awarded Silver Status in the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) 2025. This achievement reflects our ongoing dedication to providing a supportive, inclusive and flexible working environment for veterans, reservists and Armed Forces families.

These initiatives form part of a broader approach. As our business continues to grow, we remain focused on ensuring that Platts is a workplace where people are supported, where potential is recognised and where individuals have the opportunity to shape their future with confidence.
